About our outpatient practices

A large portion of each resident's tenure in the Family Medicine Residency Program is spent at our outpatient practices, where residents get hands-on experience treating patients ranging from infants to seniors under the guidance and direction of board-certified faculty members.

Main Line HealthCare's Bryn Mawr Family Practice is a full-service medical practice for all ages. They are located in Suite 200 at 135 South Bryn Mawr Avenue on the campus of Bryn Mawr Hospital.

The practice's full-range of health care programs includes:

  • Prenatal care and obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, adolescent and adult medicine, and geriatrics
  • Endometrial biopsies, colposcopy, IUD insertion and Nexplanon insertion
  • Clinical laboratory services for blood work, urinalysis and pregnancy testing
  • Office surgery for mole removal and skin biopsies
  • Services for people with special needs, such as the homebound
  • Multidisciplinary team including social work and psychology
  • Musculoskeletal Clinic

Main Line HealthCare City Line Family Medicine is a full-service medical practice for patients age 14 and older. They are located in Suite 100 at 301 East City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. 

The practice's full-range of health care programs includes:

  • Clinic days—2 half days a week (separate pediatrics sessions at private practice)
  • Precepting—1:1 faculty to resident resulting in immediate feedback
  • On-site multi-specialty care including cardiology, rheumatology, gynecology
  • Patients from both West Philadelphia and the Main Line
  • High Quality Incentive Scores—Top 5% in the past decade
  • Integrated psychology
  • Multidisciplinary network support team—social work, nutrition, case management
