Through the work of Sunil Thomas, PhD, a biomedical researcher at LIMR with expertise in vaccine design, this COVID-19 Resource Guide offers a compendium of the genes and protein structure of SARS-CoV-2. Given that COVID-19 will remain prevalent in society, the need remains urgent to develop second-generation vaccines that go beyond spike protein targeting to more fully prevent disease. This open-source site provides a ready source of molecular information for use by the scientific community.

Assessment of drug candidates’ cardiac QT liability

Gan-Xin Yan, MD, PhD, has pioneered a method called "wedge prep" that uses slices of heart tissue from the adult ventricle of a rabbit to deliver quick, accurate testing.
