Professor and executive director

Sharon Larson, PhD, is an expert in social and behavioral health research, program evaluation, and community-based research. She works with clinical partners at Main Line Health to conduct research aimed at improving the health care delivery system and patients’ outcomes.

Associate professor

Kimberly B. Gill, PhD, is a sociologist with over 20 years of research, evaluation, teaching and applied experience in population health with an emphasis on health equity.

Biostatistician

Stephanie Kjelstrom has a master's degree in epidemiology from the University of South Florida and is a PhD student in Population Health Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University, studying Health Economics and Outcome Research. She is certified in public health. She aids in study design, data collection and data analysis, grant and publication writing, and working with the Institutional Review Board.

Postdoctoral fellows

The research interests of Justin Beaupre, EdD, MPH, include improving health outcomes within historically underserved populations. He earned his MPH in health administration with a focus on public health from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and his EdD from the University of New England.

Kaitlyn Kennard, MD, a Lankenau surgical resident, is researching metabolic syndrome and triple-negative breast cancer.

Population health biostatistical assistant/data analyist

Georgia Montone earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology and her Master of Science in Applied Statistics from West Chester University. She supports the center’s executive director and biostatistician in providing a range of skills in study design, data collection and analysis. She assists in providing statistical input for grants, reports, internal documents and publications. She is certified in Research Informatics for Epic Systems. She extracts, cleans and analyzes data for research reports that monitor and improve the health system.

Research assistants

Jackie Massuda earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Behavioral Health Counseling from Drexel University and her Master of Science in Community and Trauma Counseling at Thomas Jefferson University. In the Center for Population Health Research, she assists the executive director with developing, coordinating and conducting research projects.

Mary Gutierrez earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and Master of Public Health from La Salle University. She is interested in improving health care delivery and health outcomes. She assists the executive director and coordinates various research projects on population health.
