Patrick Viatour

Patrick Viatour, PharmD, PhD

Resident Faculty
Associate Professor

Dr. Viatour is interested in the mechanisms that govern cell division during episodes of rapid cellular proliferation. In particular, his laboratory develops a unifying theory regarding the role of the transcription factor E2f in pathological contexts such as cancer and inflammatory reactions. His long-term goal is to identify novel therapeutic strategies to harness proliferation and limit the accumulation of pathological cell populations, such as tumorigenic and pro-inflammatory cells.
