Riddle Hospital elects new Board Member Robert V. Donato, III
Robert V. Donato, III, CWCP, CRIS, founded The Safegard Group, Inc., one of the area’s largest insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firms, headquartered in Media, Pa. In his current role as chairman, he develops strategies for ensuring long-term viability of the company as well as maintains relationships with clients and peer organizations. Bob earned his BA degree from the University of Delaware, is a licensed property and casualty agent, and obtained his CWCP accreditation from Michigan State University. Bob has served on the boards of the Easter Seal Society of Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties, the Rocky Run YMCA, and the Board of Alumni Association of the University of Delaware.
36th Annual Pro-Am Golf Classic
Join us on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the DuPont Country Club, Championship Course in Wilmington, Del. for Riddle Hospital’s 36th Annual Pro-Am Golf Classic benefiting Riddle Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
In 2016, Riddle Hospital received a historic $16 million contribution from the Estate of John Bancker Gribbel. The income from this endowment supports patient care at the hospital. In recognition of this incredible act of generosity, the main lobby at Riddle was renamed The Gribbel Lobby at a ceremony held on Thursday, June 21, 2018.
Attended by Riddle HealthCare Foundation Board Members, physicians, donors and staff, the dedication offered the opportunity to learn more about Mr. Gribbel who was a friend of Sam Riddle and who passed away in 1947. New signage installed in The Gribbel Lobby now pays homage to Riddle Hospital’s two largest benefactors.
