Gift of securities
With your gift of appreciated stock, shares of mutual funds, or other securities, you may reduce or eliminate capital gains tax while benefiting Lankenau Medical Center. Memorials and tributes
A gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a friend, family member, physician or other caregiver is a thoughtful way to express your thanks and support.
If you would like to recognize your doctor, nurse or friend, please let us know. We will send the honoree a card to let him or her know of your gift in their honor. The amount of your gift will remain confidential.
If you would like to memorialize someone with a gift to Lankenau Medical Center, we will notify their spouse, children, or other loved one of your special gift. Please provide the name and address of the person to be notified.

Employer matching
Many employers encourage employee giving through a matching gift program. Through this program, your employer may match part or all of your contribution to Lankenau Medical Center. If you donate $100, for example, your company may contribute an additional $50 (50 percent match), $100 (100 percent match) or even $200 (200 percent match).
To find out if your employer offers this incentive, please call your human resources department. Request a matching gift form, complete the employee portion of the form, and mail the form to Lankenau Medical Center with your gift.

Contents of home
Proceeds from The Hamper Shop, a thrift, resale and consignment shop, benefit Lankenau Medical Center. The Hamper Shop offers reasonably priced clothing, furniture, antiques and bric-a-brac.
Donations of clothing and merchandise are accepted. From a house full of estate contents to those pieces that just won’t fit into your new home after a move, our Shop will gratefully accept your donation. In some cases, our volunteers and employees will come to your home to remove estate or house contents.
In return for your generous donation, we offer:
- Tax deduction to the fullest extent allowed by law
- Removal of entire contents of a home, if desired, leaving it broom clean
- Peace of mind for yourself and your family, knowing that your home and possessions are in the hands of trustworthy employees and volunteers from your community hospital
- The satisfaction of knowing that your donation makes a difference for your hospital and the people in our community
