The Benjamin Rush Society is a preeminent philanthropic society comprised of supporters who view Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital as the superior provider of physical and cognitive rehabilitation to the community.
Established in 2010 to coincide with the hospital's 40th anniversary, The Benjamin Rush Society recognizes and honors the many individuals, foundations and businesses who contribute $1,000 or more annually in support of hospital programs and events, without whom our advanced level of care would not be possible.
The Benjamin Rush Society is proudly named after Benjamin Rush, MD, pioneer in the field of occupational therapy, medical teacher, social reformer, and signer of the Declaration of Independence. Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital now sits on the site originally known as the "Country Campus" of the Philadelphia-based Rush Hospital.
Our generous members include grateful patients, physicians, staff, volunteers and community members, whose donations are distributed among the following levels:
- Advocates – $1,000
- Patrons – $2,500
- Pacesetters – $5,000
- Founder – $10,000
- Community Partners – $25,000 and above
