Spring Thing 2015

Spring Thing—the annual spring social event hosted by the Gerhard Society of Bryn Mawr Hospital—was held on April 15, 2015.

This lively evening was held at the Barn at Valley Forge and included cocktails, cuisine and much more. Chef and author Molly Gilbert presented a dynamic spring cooking experience based on recipes from her popular Sheet Pan Suppers cookbook. A portion of all shopping proceeds from the evening benefited Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Featured speaker, Ray Baraldi, MD, vice president of medical affairs for Bryn Mawr Hospital, gave a unique perspective on Bryn Mawr Hospital's $200 million modernization project—as a physician who built his career at the hospital, an administrator who returned to lead the hospital after 10 years apart, and as a community member who has raised his children and grandchildren reliant on the hospital's services.
