Bryn Mawr Hospital’s Interventional Procedure Suite Project
Bryn Mawr Hospital has begun a $34 million construction project to relocate, modernize and expand its cardiovascular, electrophysiology and neurointerventional labs into an all-new Interventional Procedure Suite. This exciting and much-needed undertaking will house advanced technology, accommodate growing demand, and transform the patient experience from admission through recovery.
The new Interventional Procedure Suite, slated to open later this year, will make a difference in the lives of so many patients, from pacemakers to stroke intervention and more. Recently, we spoke with two of our esteemed clinical colleagues, Sarang Mangalmurti, MD and Patrice Borgmann, MSN, MBA, RN-BC, NEA-BC, about the impact this project will have on our community and wanted to share their insights with you.
Philanthropy helps Bryn Mawr Hospital to make advancements like these to our services, ultimately to the benefit of our patients, their families, and our community. If you are interested in supporting this project, gifts can be made through our online gift form, be sure to select Interventional Procedure Suite Project from the designation drop down menu. For more information on this project please contact Cinda Johnson, Director of Development, at JohnsonLu@mlhs.org or 484.337.8610.
Update with Bryn Mawr Hospital President John T. Schwarz
On February 16, 2022, Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation held a virtual donor meet & greet with Bryn Mawr Hospital President John T. Schwarz and members of the Gerhard Society. This session was an opportunity for donors to hear updates and ask questions on a variety of topics from COVID, staffing, and recent area hospital closures to new partnerships in Pediatrics, expanding service lines, our new Behavioral Health unit and so much more. Those who participated found the session both interesting and engaging, and we hope you do too!
