A rich history of health education programming for young people
Over the course of more than 60 years, we have worked with educators throughout the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region and hosted tens of thousands of school children, from kindergarten through high school age at our education center. Here children can learn about cellular behavior and the effects of food and nutrition on the body. They discover how the different bodily systems function and work together as well as explore the different centers of the brain and how the brain influences the body. In a nonjudgmental and matter-of-fact way, kids also learn about the impact of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco on the human body, and come to appreciate the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
