At Main Line Health, we teach spiritual care values as an essential part of our CPE Program.
Main Line Health offers an Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE, Inc.) accredited Program. Our chaplains are person-centered and trained to listen empathetically. They help people from all contexts and cultural, spiritual and religious backgrounds to find meaning in their experience.
By working with an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals, patients and visitors, students develop interpersonal and interprofessional skills.

Our ACPE-accredited CPE Program provides the opportunity to focus on quality education and spiritual care for the entire community.
The ACPE Curriculum introduces students to methodologies, theories and practices that form a foundation for learning. As one progresses in CPE, the foundation is continuously integrated as advanced skills are developed, including research-based learning. By increasing the student’s capacity to innovate and conceptually learn within the context of spiritual care in a medical setting, students will be able to demonstrate competency, as well as achievement in the four-level certificate program.
