The Hematology Oncology Fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center is a 36-month ACGME-accredited training program. Two fellows are accepted each year for a total of six trainees. The fellowship's program size allows for a personalized learning environment with dedicated faculty members.
The fellowship strives to produce well-rounded hematology oncology physicians who can provide compassionate, patient-oriented, evidence-based care in the community setting.
The competency-based curriculum permits each fellow to increasingly gain experience in the clinical setting as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, conduct scholarly activity, and ultimately be ready for unsupervised practice.
The fellowship offers extraordinary outpatient experience in the Continuity Clinic and with faculty members in Lankenau's onsite private practice. Fellows are provided with a total of 11 months to conduct clinical or basic research alongside faculty with Lankenau Institute for Medical Research and with Main Line Health's system-wide Integrated Network Cancer Program.
