The gold seal of approval for quality
The Joint Commission awards hospitals based on a number of key quality indicators, including patient care and organizational standards related to providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care. Main Line Health's four acute care hospitals have all been recognized by The Joint Commission for patient care and services.
Nurses Improving Care for Health System Elders designation
Main Line Health hospitals, including Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, have all received NICHE designation. The NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Health System Elders) designation indicates an organization’s commitment to elder care excellence by stimulating senior focused-transformation in the culture of health care facilities and achieving patient-centered care for older adults.
Main Line Health recognized by Human Rights Campaign as a top performer
Human Rights Campaign Healthcare Equality Index is the national LGBTQ+ benchmarking tool that evaluates healthcare facilities policies and practices related to the equity and inclusion of their LGBTQ patients, visitors and employees. The HEI 2020 evaluates more that 1,700 healthcare facilities nationwide.
